Pc Matt Eld - Leaving the Westcotes

Good Morning everyone

I have not posted on here for a few weeks now as this is being managed by my good colleague PCSO Ushma. 

I wanted to inform as many local people i can that I am leaving the Westcotes Team as of next week (15th). I appreciate some may not know me locally, but there will be many that do for various reasons. 

I have worked the Westcotes beat for the past 12 years, which is a long time in community policing terms. But I have done this as I believe in getting to know and understand the community, which takes time/trust.

Thank you to all those who have worked with me in the community over these years and I wish you all the best. I am not able to say face to face goodbyes with everyone, so apologies if reading this and i have not spoken to you directly. 

Please note that a strong beat policing team remains and its business as usual. I will also be replaced very shortly by another PC, so they will introduce themselves in the coming weeks no doubt.
